What your photos can quietly reveal
Most phones save extra details inside every photo. This hidden data is called metadata. You cannot see it, but anyone with the file can read it.
Where you were
If location is turned on, a photo can store the exact spot where it was taken, such as your home.
When you were there
The date and time are often saved to the second. Together with location, this shows your routine.
What device you use
The phone or camera brand and model are usually stored too, along with editing app names.
Some apps remove this data when you post. Many ways of sharing keep it, like email, cloud links and files sent in chat apps.

Is Cleanlume really free?

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photos are read and cleaned on your own device. Nothing is sent to Digieh or anyone else.
Will cleaning lower my photo quality?
No. Cleanlume removes only the hidden data. The picture is copied exactly as it was, so the quality stays the same.
Why does my phone photo look sideways after cleaning?
Phones store rotation in the hidden data. Keep the box called Keep correct rotation ticked, and Cleanlume keeps just that one detail.

How do I stop my phone from saving location in photos?
Open your camera settings and turn off location tags. On iPhone, go to Settings, then Privacy, then Location Services, then Camera.
